A former teammate of Justin Fields from the Bears, DE Montez Sweat, who spent only half a season with the team due to a trade, shared his impressions of the quarterback. Despite his brief time with Fields, Sweat emphasized Fields’ work ethic and the respect he commanded among his teammates.
Speaking on the Green Light podcast with Chris Long, Sweat described Fields as a hardworking individual who consistently displayed dedication both on and off the field.
Sweat noted Fields’ commitment to his craft, his presence in the locker room, and his exemplary attitude, which earned him the admiration of his peers.
Sweat acknowledged that while Fields seemed to be doing everything right, sometimes the dynamics of the league lead to unexpected outcomes, such as Fields being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
