“He is the answer” – Auburn Tigers’ Head Coach Reveals New Transfer Target to Boosts Offensive Line Unity and Strength…

Auburn’s recent addition to the offensive line, transfer tackle Percy Lewis, is making a positive impact early on with the team. Standing at an impressive 6-foot-7 and weighing 355 pounds, Lewis, a former Mississippi State offensive lineman, is expected to take on the left tackle position for Hugh Freeze’s second season on The Plains.

Expressing confidence in his partnership with offensive guard Dillon Wade, who previously played left tackle for Auburn, Lewis highlighted Wade’s SEC experience, emphasizing their effective collaboration on the field. Wade has now transitioned to play guard with Lewis joining the offensive line.

Lewis also emphasized the camaraderie within the offensive line, noting the team’s bonding activities outside of football, particularly their frequent meals together. Describing the unity among the players as akin to brothers, Lewis spoke positively about the team’s cohesion.

Having played in all 12 games for Mississippi State last season, Lewis brings valuable experience to the Auburn Tigers. During his time at Mississippi State, he logged 437 offensive snaps, with 235 on passing downs. His performance included allowing two sacks, four hurries, and one quarterback hit.

As Spring Camp progresses, Auburn’s anticipated starting offensive line comprises Lewis at left tackle, Wade at left guard, Connor Lew at center, Jeremiah Wright at right guard, and Izavion Miller at right tackle.
