Walsall Chief Executive Takes On New Role with Trivela Group…

Walsall’s Chief Executive, Stefan Gamble, is set to step down from his position to assume a new role within the club’s ownership group, the Trivela Group. Having been on the Saddlers’ board since 2007, Gamble will become the Vice President of Finance for Trivela Group after the recruitment of his successor at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the transition, Gamble, who initially joined the club as a financial advisor in 2002, highlighted the positive changes brought about by Trivela. He looks forward to contributing to the continued improvement of Walsall Football Club and aiding in the overall growth of Trivela.

Despite stepping back from the day-to-day operations of the club, Gamble will maintain a central and active role in its financial aspects through his new position with Trivela, which acquired a majority stake in Walsall in 2002 and recently acquired Irish club Drogheda United.

Acknowledging Gamble’s dedicated service, Walsall co-owner Ben Boycott praised his 21-year tenure with the club, citing his various roles and significant contributions.

Boycott expressed gratitude for Gamble’s tireless efforts in fostering stability, overseeing investments, and playing a crucial role in reuniting the club with its freehold. Looking ahead, Boycott anticipates continued collaboration with Gamble in his new capacity.
