Five Cleveland Browns Players Headlining 2024 Pro Bowl Roster, Six More as Alternates

Five players from the Cleveland Browns have been chosen to participate in the 2024 Pro Bowl, while an additional six have been named as alternates, as announced by the NFL. The selected players for the Pro Bowl roster are Myles Garrett, Joel Bitonio, David Njoku, Amari Cooper, and Denzel Ward. The event is scheduled to take place in Orlando, Florida, the weekend before the Super Bowl. Corey Bojorquez, Ethan Pocic, Grant Delpit, Dustin Hopkins, Wyatt Teller, and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah have been designated as alternates, and they may step in if players ahead of them opt out due to injury or Super Bowl participation.

Myles Garrett, with 14 sacks and four forced fumbles in the season, has secured his fifth Pro Bowl selection and is a strong contender for the Defensive Player of the Year award. Joel Bitonio, in his sixth selection, has been a consistent force in the Browns’ offensive line, particularly noteworthy for anchoring the line amid various injuries to starters. David Njoku, having his best season to date, earned his first Pro Bowl nod with career-high stats in receptions, yards, and touchdowns. Amari Cooper, making his fifth Pro Bowl appearance, achieved notable milestones, including back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons and setting a franchise single-game record with 265 receiving yards. Denzel Ward, with his third Pro Bowl selection, showcased exceptional play in the Browns’ defensive secondary, contributing to the team leading the NFL in various defensive categories.

The Pro Bowl Games have evolved from the traditional football game to feature skills competitions such as dodgeball, tug-of-war, precision passing, best catch, closest to the pin, kick tac toe, Madden head-to-head, Gridiron Gauntlet, and more. The Pro Bowl Skills Show is scheduled to air live on Thursday, Feb. 1, on ESPN, culminating in a flag football game on Sunday, Feb. 4, in Orlando at the University of Central Florida’s Nicholson Fieldhouse.
