ESPN’s Dan Graziano is among those who anticipate a coaching change for the Patriots in 2024. In a recent column co-authored with NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, Graziano speculates on the number of coaching vacancies expected this offseason, estimating seven, including the Patriots. Graziano suggests it is “likely” that the organization will part ways with Belichick.
The question now revolves around how the Patriots will sever ties with their iconic head coach. There’s talk of owner Robert Kraft potentially orchestrating a “bidding war” for the future Hall of Famer, although executing a trade may pose challenges given Belichick’s age and salary demands. A straightforward firing seems improbable considering Belichick’s significant contributions to the franchise.
