Double Technical Fouls Given to Bobby Portis of the Milwaukee Bucks and Jeremy Sochan of the San Antonio Spurs Following Intense Confrontation
In Tuesday night’s regular-season game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the San Antonio Spurs, the atmosphere diverged from the typical mid-December contest. The matchup took an intense turn when tempers flared during an altercation between Bobby Portis and Spurs guard/forward Jeremy Sochan, requiring intervention to separate the two players.
The hostility between Portis and Sochan had been building throughout the game, culminating in a physical confrontation in the fourth quarter. Apparently, Sochan took issue with Portis’ aggressive play, leading to an incident where Sochan restrained Portis’ arm after the Spurs scored a basket.
The confrontation prompted game officials, players from both teams, and even coaching staff members to step in and separate Portis and Sochan.
