JJ Watt had a message for the Tennessee Titans following the Houston Texans’ comeback victory.
The stakes were high in the Sunday clash, with the Texans ultimately prevailing 19-16 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The winning moment came in overtime with a successful 54-yard field goal by Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn.

You decide to do Oilers cosplay and then you end up losing in classic Oilers fashion to a team missing 8 starters including QB, top two WRs and both RTs.
The uniforms still have the same juju I remember from watching them growing up.

Listen….. Texans going into Tennessee and beating the Titans while they wear those Oilers throwbacks does feel a bit like karma.

We get the uniforms back.
That’s how this works, I don’t make the rules.Sorry, not sorry.
Too bad, so sad.

Despite Watt’s post-game remarks, it seems unlikely that the Titans will be conceding any time soon. Nevertheless, the outcome provided a satisfying sense of revenge for Houstonians, if only for this particular game.
Earlier in the year, the University of Houston football team donned alternate uniforms resembling the throwback Oilers jerseys as a tribute to Houston’s football history. However, the NFL took subsequent action against this gesture.
