“It’s Pathetic” – Injury Woes Mount for Green Bay Packers as Key Players Questionable for Giants Clash…

Christian Watson and Jaire Alexander of the Green Bay Packers will be absent from the Monday night game against the New York Giants, as confirmed by the team’s injury report issued on Saturday.

Watson sustained a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter of the Packers’ recent victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite Watson’s notable contributions with two touchdowns and seven catches for 71 yards in that game, his absence is acknowledged as a setback for the team.

Coach Matt LaFleur expressed his concern about missing Watson, emphasizing the player’s recent impact on the team’s offensive performance.

However, he also sees this as an opportunity for other players to step up and fill the void created by Watson’s absence. Watson’s recent success includes four touchdowns during the Packers’ three-game winning streak, accumulating 28 catches for 422 yards and five scores this season.

On the defensive side, Jaire Alexander will be sidelined for the fifth consecutive game due to a shoulder injury. Alexander has participated in only five games this season, facing setbacks with both back and shoulder issues.

Other Packers players with injury concerns include running back Aaron Jones, safety Darnell Savage, and cornerback Eric Stokes, all listed as questionable for the upcoming game. Linebacker Quay Walker is doubtful with a shoulder injury. Walker, who played every defensive snap in the recent game against the Chiefs, leads the team with 92 tackles this season. Jones has missed the last two games, while Savage returned to action on Sunday after a five-game absence due to a calf injury.

Stokes, currently on injured reserve, participated fully in practice this week after appearing in just one game this season. The 2021 first-round pick returned from a foot injury to play four special-teams snaps on October 22 but suffered a hamstring injury that has kept him out of play since then.
