A pair of rookie quarterbacks took some bumps in Week 13 while one continued to excel…

In Week 13, the performance of three rookie quarterbacks varied. Bryce Young of the Carolina Panthers faced a tough challenge against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, resulting in a 21-18 loss.

Despite a struggle on the road and being under constant pressure, Young managed a third-quarter touchdown drive.

However, an interception in the closing minutes sealed the Panthers’ fifth consecutive loss, eliminating them from playoff contention. Young’s next opportunity to secure an away victory comes against the New Orleans Saints.

On the other hand, C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans showcased his skills in a 22-17 victory over the Denver Broncos. Stroud threw for 274 yards and one touchdown, leading the Texans to a comfortable lead that they maintained throughout the game.

Despite briefly exiting in the fourth quarter, Stroud returned and continues to lead the NFL in passing yards. The Texans aim to extend their winning streak as they face the New York Jets next.

Will Levis and the Tennessee Titans experienced a 28-38 loss against the Indianapolis Colts. Levis had a strong start, breaking a streak of 15 games without an opening-drive touchdown for the Titans.

Despite a potential fumble, Levis recovered and even forced a fumble from the Colts. In the fourth quarter, he orchestrated a touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins, sending the game into overtime.

However, the Colts secured a victory with a game-winning touchdown. The Titans look to bounce back on “Monday Night Football” against the Miami Dolphins.
