Alabama Football Injury Update: Another Veteran Superstar Joins the Injury List

Coach Kalen DeBoer has not ruled out Kendrick Law for this week’s game, stating that the team will monitor his recovery throughout the week. Law made one catch during Alabama’s exciting victory over Georgia on Saturday and has received high praise from the coaching staff for his exceptional run-blocking skills.

On a brighter note, Alabama defensive back DeVonta Smith is expected to return for the upcoming game against Vanderbilt. He left the field late in the Georgia matchup after being treated for cramps.

DeBoer confirmed that Smith dealt with cramping issues for much of Saturday’s game but has been actively participating in practice this week following the win.

More information regarding the Crimson Tide’s injury status will be available starting Wednesday evening, when the SEC releases its first participation report of the week, a new requirement during conference game weeks.

Alabama will face Vanderbilt at 3:15 p.m. CT on Saturday in Nashville. The Commodores, who are coming off a bye week with a 2-2 record, last played a double-overtime game against Missouri. The matchup will be broadcasted on the SEC Network.
