Dolphins’ Grant DuBose Placed on Injured Reserve, Browns Re-Sign Nathaniel Watson to Practice Squad

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Grant DuBose (Park Crossing, Miles) has been placed on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury and will miss at least the next four games, the team announced on Saturday.

DuBose, who was claimed off waivers after being cut by the Green Bay Packers at the end of the preseason, played 39 offensive snaps and recorded one reception in Miami’s first two games of the season.

Meanwhile, another player with Alabama football ties returned to an NFL roster on Saturday. The Cleveland Browns signed linebacker Nathaniel Watson (Maplesville) to their practice squad after releasing him from the active roster on Thursday. A sixth-round rookie, Watson participated in 33 special-teams plays during the first two games of the season.
