Arizona Volleyball Secures 10-Game Win Streak, Eyes Big XII Challenges Ahead

Hodge led the offense, while Avery Scoggins orchestrated the play with 38 assists, contributing 10 digs to bolster the Wildcats’ defense, earning her a double-double. Carlie Cisneros chipped in with 10 kills and a team-high 3 aces, and Kiari Robey added two blocks. Overall, Arizona outperformed the Bison, hitting .361 compared to North Dakota State’s .213, registering 51 kills on 108 attempts.

### Service Errors Almost Became an Issue

While Arizona Volleyball should celebrate its first 10-game winning streak in 15 years, there were still areas needing improvement. The Wildcats, who primarily use float serves, recorded 14 service errors in three sets, which could have been costly. Ana Heath, the team’s only jump server, had just two errors and one ace. Ideally, a 50/50 ace-to-error ratio would be desirable, but Heath’s performance was still manageable. Moving forward, serving will likely be a focus in practice, emphasizing aggressive serves while keeping them in play.

### Can the Win Streak Continue?

With Southern Utah up next, Arizona is expected to secure another victory on Sunday, shifting attention to the start of Big XII Conference play. The Wildcats face two challenging road games against Baylor and TCU. A win against Baylor would tie the program record of 12 consecutive victories, setting up the Wildcats’ first real test of the season.
