Kentucky’s Rushing Defense Faces Major Test Against Bobcats

Rushing Defense

Kentucky’s rushing defense has been outstanding this season. The Wildcats held Southern Miss to just 5 rushing yards, South Carolina to 79 yards, and Georgia to 102 yards. Not a single running back has managed to rush for over 100 yards in a game against Kentucky so far. While this is encouraging, the challenge now is to maintain that success against a Bobcat team that thrives on running the ball. The Bobcats are averaging 203 rushing yards per game. Out of their total 610 rushing yards this season, 107 have come from their quarterback, showing he’s not afraid to run when necessary. However, the bulk of their ground game comes from their running backs, with Anthony Tyus III standing out as a key player to watch this week.
