Interesting Update: WNBA’s Veteran Superstar Caitlin Clark’s Intriguing Response to Chris Paul’s Message Amid WNBA’s…

WNBA veteran superstar Caitlin Clark had a standout reaction to a message from NBA icon Chris Paul amid recent WNBA news.

Indiana Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark has etched her name in WNBA history, setting the league’s single-season record for assists. NBA star Chris Paul, famous for his playmaking, took notice and offered his congratulations, sparking a new nickname for Clark among WNBA fans.

Paul, now with the San Antonio Spurs, shared a post from State Farm on Saturday celebrating Clark’s achievement, which came after she dished out nine assists in Friday’s game against the Las Vegas Aces. That performance brought her season total to a record-breaking 321 assists, surpassing the previous mark of 316 set by Alyssa Thomas in 2023. “Assisting is what we do. Congrats [Caitlin Clark] on breaking the [WNBA] single season assist record!” Paul wrote.

Fans quickly responded, dubbing Clark the WNBA’s “Point Goddess,” a nod to Paul’s own nickname, “Point God.” Some fans even coined terms like “The Point Gods” to celebrate both players. One fan commented, “The Point God’s. CP3 and CC22,” while another said, “Point god x point goddess.”

Though Las Vegas Aces guard Chelsea Gray is known as the “Point Gawd” in the WNBA, Clark’s new title seems to fit perfectly following her historic feat. Given Chris Paul’s support, it wouldn’t be surprising if he’s on board with the new moniker as well.
