Official Update: Titans Rookie DT T’Vondre Sweat Shines in Debut Against …

Titans rookie defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat made a strong impression in his first NFL game against the Chicago Bears. His performance earned him a feature on the NFL Network’s “Baldy Breakdown” segment.

“It was really pretty impressive,” said Titans defensive coordinator Shane Bowen. “T’Vondre has been on a consistent upward trajectory since he arrived. He’s become more comfortable, improved his technique, and lost weight to get in better shape.”

Bowen also expressed a desire for a more balanced workload between running backs Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears. Pollard received 16 carries compared to Spears’ 4, but Pollard’s early success justified the heavy usage.

Meanwhile, analyst Blake Beddingfield offered his takeaways from the Titans’ loss, highlighting both positive and negative aspects of the team’s performance.
