On the most recent WWE RAW episode, Karrion Kross took a shot at Kofi Kingston before going on to defeat Xavier Woods in a singles match. Kingston was not present on the show because of an injury he suffered during WWE’s tour in Japan the week prior.
During his promo, Kross made a disparaging comment about Kingston, saying, “I want you to tell that one-armed bastard Kofi Kingston that he should have retired after he lost the WWE Title in just six seconds!” This remark prompted Kingston to respond via social media.
The former WWE Champion corrected Kross’s error in a tweet, writing, “8 seconds, @realKILLERkross, not 6. 8 seconds…which is about 8 seconds longer than you’ve held a title on the main roster. The 1ArmBastard.” Kingston’s tweet and Kross’s jab can be seen below:
