“I’m never going to be the one to walk into someone’s office and be like, ‘I’m ready, call me back up,’” Torkelson stated. “They have an idea of what they want to see, and I’m just going to be grinding down here, clearing my head, gaining confidence, and improving my ability. The front office makes the final decision. If they believe I’m ready, I’m ready.”
