The Cleveland Browns seem to have no intention of pursuing free agent wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, despite earlier speculation. Renfrow, who previously played for the Las Vegas Raiders, has not been approached by the Browns, according to reports.
Despite Renfrow’s history with Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson during their time at Clemson, the team has not made any moves to bring him in, as per Brad Stainbrook of The OBR.
Renfrow’s performance declined notably when coaching changes occurred in Las Vegas, and he has struggled to find a new team for the 2023 season.
The Browns’ receiving lineup appears crowded already, with recent acquisitions such as Jerry Jeudy and contract extensions, leaving little room for Renfrow.
Considering his recent performance and the existing talent on the Browns’ roster, it’s understandable why they’re not pursuing him further.
