Derek Carr Makes an Unexpected Admission About Arrowhead Stadium…

Las Vegas Raiders fans have had a rocky relationship with their former quarterback, Derek Carr, who led the team for nine years before joining the New Orleans Saints last season.

Recently, Carr stirred up his former fanbase by revealing an unexpected favorite stadium during an interview. On the podcast “Green Light” with former NFL defensive lineman Chris Long, Carr admitted that Arrowhead Stadium is one of his favorite places to play, jokingly adding, “Now that I’m not a Raider, I can finally say it.”

This admission is surprising, given that Carr secured only one victory at Arrowhead during his time with the Raiders, with most games ending in heavy losses to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Carr and Long reminisced about their experiences at Arrowhead, recalling enjoyable interactions despite their lack of wins there.

Carr’s first season with the Saints yielded mixed results, including 25 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions, a 68.4 percent completion rate, and 3,878 passing yards, despite dealing with various injuries.

Carr is likely looking forward to facing the Chiefs at Arrowhead on Monday Night Football on October 7th, as he will reunite with the familiar faces he spoke highly of.
