Breaking News: Colorado Buffaloes Officially Amnouces the Departure of a Key Player Amid Financial Challenge…

Georgia Tech has made another significant addition to its basketball roster with the announcement of Luke O’Brien joining the team.

O’Brien, a transfer from Colorado, brings a wealth of experience, having played 111 college games and contributed to successful NCAA Tournament and NIT runs with the Buffaloes.

Notably, he played a key role in Colorado’s record-breaking 2023-24 season, culminating in an appearance in the Pac-12 Tournament championship game and an NCAA Tournament berth.

Described by Georgia Tech head coach Damon Stoudamire as a player with valuable leadership qualities, O’Brien is praised for his shooting skills and tournament experience.

His performance during his college career saw him achieve personal bests in scoring and rebounding, with notable contributions in crucial games against Pac-12 opponents and in NCAA Tournament matchups.

In addition to his on-court abilities, O’Brien’s character has been recognized with the team’s Tebo P.A.S.S. Award, highlighting his perseverance, attitude, selflessness, and success. His impact extended beyond statistics, as he led Colorado in rebounds during his junior year and played a significant role in the team’s late-season success.

O’Brien’s commitment to Georgia Tech adds to the team’s momentum, following the earlier addition of guard Javian McCollum from Oklahoma. They join a roster bolstered by a highly rated recruiting class, featuring promising high school prospects from various parts of the country.
