Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his girlfriend, actress Hailee Steinfeld, have reached the iconic “matching Halloween costume” stage of their relationship, recently dressing up in style for a Halloween bash. Just days after the Bills defeated the Seattle Seahawks to improve to a 6-2 record, Allen and Steinfeld hosted a festive gathering for Allen’s teammates. The couple went with a circus theme, donning ringmaster costumes that quickly gained viral attention.
Bills Teammates Celebrate Together at the Halloween Extravaganza
The event brought together several Bills players and their significant others, who shared glimpses of the night across social media. According to US Weekly, Allen and Steinfeld took the party theme to the next level with intricate details and décor.
“Danika Johnson, wife of Bills defensive lineman Austin Johnson, shared on her Instagram Story that each table was decorated with popcorn boxes, cotton candy, and rainbow lollipops,” the report detailed. “The couple also created a custom menu that fit the circus theme, with cocktails like the ‘Freakshow Fizz’ and ‘Ringleader’s Remedy.’”
Halloween festivities have become a bit of a tradition for Allen, who previously coordinated costumes with his former girlfriend, Brittany Williams. In 2022, they embraced a Great Gatsby theme, with Allen in a tuxedo and Williams in a vintage gown.
Hailee Steinfeld’s Support for the Bills’ Season
Allen and Steinfeld have been dating since spring 2023 and have grown close over the past months, with Steinfeld moving into Allen’s Orchard Park home. She shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming football season in her Beau Society newsletter, expressing her excitement to cheer on Allen from the stands.
“Hi. Ok, so the rumors are true,” Steinfeld wrote. “Football season is back, which means I get to watch my favorite person continue to make NFL history every week (go off, 17).”
She added, “I feel incredibly lucky to have a front-row seat to the magic that is JA17, the entire Bills team, and the unmatched stadium energy. Bills Mafia is truly second to none.”
The Bills have started the season strong, leading the AFC East with a 6-2 record. Allen is having an impressive season, completing 64.1% of his passes for 1,766 yards, with 14 touchdowns and just one interception so far.
That lone interception happened in the recent 31-10 win over the Seahawks, but Allen made a crucial tackle to stop a scoring threat, allowing the Bills defense to hold Seattle to just a field goal.
“That was huge,” Allen reflected after the game. “I hate throwing turnovers, but I made the tackle. Coach always emphasizes staying engaged in the play and letting the defense do their thing.”
With a stellar start to the season, Allen’s performance is drawing national attention, with The Athletic‘s J.J. Bailey naming him a frontrunner for MVP through the first half of the season.
