Nick Folk’s Stellar Kicking and Titans’ Dominant Defense Lead to Victory Over Dolphins

Nick Folk had an outstanding game, consistently delivering for the Titans with his reliable kicking. The veteran kicker nailed field goals from 53, 52, 47, 51, and 29 yards. His five successful field goals matched his career-high, and his three kicks from over 50 yards set a new personal record. The Titans’ defense also shone on Monday night, holding the Dolphins to just 13 first downs and a mere 184 total yards. Miami struggled on third downs, converting only 2-of-12 (16.7 percent), and went 1-of-3 on fourth downs (33.3 percent).

Key defensive plays came from Jarvis Brownlee, Kenneth Murray, and Quandre Diggs, who stopped Tyreek Hill on a crucial fourth-down attempt, while Ernest Jones delivered another key fourth-down stop. Arden Key recovered a fumble behind the line of scrimmage, and Diggs intercepted a two-point conversion pass. Murray led the team with nine tackles, and both Harold Landry and Sebastian Joseph-Day added a sack each.
