Adams’ Response Sparks Concern: Is This Turning Into a Bigger Issue

Adams addressed the situation, saying, “I haven’t heard from him. I haven’t talked to him, so I’m not really sure what this is about. Obviously, social media has a huge influence, and a lot of people have seen it and are curious. People are reaching out, but I haven’t spoken to him. Honestly, it’s hard to make a comment. It’s one of those things where I just keep my head down, focus on what I’m doing, and let things unfold as they will. But as of now, there’s been no communication from the team since this became an issue.”

Yikes. I can see how someone might argue that Pierce liked the tweet by accident or as a joke, but Adams’ response makes me think this might actually be turning into something real. It seems like this is the type of thing Adams should address directly with his coach before discussing it on a major NFL show. Now I’m starting to think that the Fantasy Football analyst was onto something.

I guess we were bound to end up here sooner or later, but it’s still unsettling to see this come up right after a big win. Looks like we’re in for a long month ahead.
