Tigers Officially Make a Critical Decision,  Part Ways with 28-Year Old Pitcher Amid Worrisome Allegations…

The Los Angeles Dodgers have bolstered their pitching depth by signing minor league free agent left-hander Zach Logue. The 28-year-old hurler joins the Dodgers after spending time with the Oakland Athletics, Detroit Tigers, and Atlanta Braves.

Logue made his debut for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday night, pitching three innings and allowing one run on five hits. He struck out one batter and walked none. The signing was announced by Oklahoma City broadcaster/communications director Alex Freeman on social media.

Despite brief stints in the major leagues, Logue has struggled to find consistent success. His most recent stint with the Braves saw him pitch in multiple games but never appear in a major league contest. Atlanta designated him for assignment in early September, leading to his availability on the free agent market.

The Dodgers are hopeful that Logue can provide valuable depth to their pitching staff, particularly as the team navigates a series of injuries. With the postseason approaching, the Dodgers are eager to have as many healthy arms available as possible.

While Logue is not eligible to compete in the postseason, he could provide much-needed relief for the Dodgers’ bullpen or starting rotation down the stretch of the regular season. His addition to the roster could help alleviate the workload of other pitchers and ensure that the team remains competitive throughout the remainder of the season.
