Breaking News: Vikings’ Veteran Star Justin Jefferson Unleash Rage and Bluntly Respond  on Sam Donald’s Critics…

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson didn’t hold back when addressing critics of quarterback Sam Darnold following his strong debut performance for the team. Speaking with reporters on Thursday, September 12, Jefferson praised Darnold’s Week 1 outing, in which he completed 19-of-24 passes for 208 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception that occurred after being hit by a New York Giants defender.

“He started 12-of-12,” Jefferson said, showing his support for the new quarterback. “If you don’t have confidence in that, I don’t know what more you need.”

Vikings Face Challenging Schedule in the Coming Weeks

The Vikings are gearing up for a tough six-week stretch of games, and success will depend on their ability to focus on each matchup. One potential advantage for Week 2 lies in Darnold’s time with the San Francisco 49ers, where he spent last season as a backup to Brock Purdy. Darnold shared how his experience with the 49ers could provide an edge against his former team when they face off on Sunday.

“It was huge, being able to learn how they operate—not just the scheme, but the whole organization,” Darnold said. “Seeing their defense every day definitely helps, though I’m sure they’ll have some new things this year.”

Darnold also reflected on his growth during his time in a backup role with San Francisco, saying it helped him evolve both as a player and a person. Now back in a starting position with the Vikings, he feels more prepared than ever to lead the team.

“I learned a lot about myself and football last year,” Darnold added. His time with the 49ers, he said, helped him refine his skills and mindset, which he’s now applying to his new opportunity in Minnesota.

With Jefferson and the rest of the Vikings’ talented roster, Darnold has the tools to prove his critics wrong and lead the team through their upcoming tough schedule.
