Duke basketball has made a late push to recruit Acaden Lewis, a highly-rated 2025 guard. Despite joining the competition later than other schools, the Blue Devils have managed to secure a spot in his top eight.

Lewis, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound southpaw guard from Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., has already announced a fall visit to UNC. However, he plans to reveal his complete visit schedule in the coming weeks.

While UConn and Syracuse are considered the frontrunners, Duke has emerged as a potential dark horse. According to recruiting expert Rob Cassidy, Duke’s late entry could be a significant factor, especially if Lewis visits Durham and has a positive experience.
