Breaking News: Hugh Freeze Confirmed The $650 000 Contract Of A New Magnificent Tiger ‘Isaiah Raikes…

Auburn, AL – Former Texas A&M defensive tackle Isaiah Raikes has officially transferred to Auburn University, citing his strong relationship with defensive coordinator DJ Durkin as a key factor in his decision.

Raikes initially entered the transfer portal following the 2023 season and chose USC over Auburn. However, after spending the spring semester in Los Angeles, he reopened his recruitment and ultimately committed to the Tigers.

“It was a tough decision between two great programs,” Raikes said. “But the opportunity to play one more year with Coach Durkin was too good to pass up. We have a great connection, and I’m excited to contribute to the Auburn defense.”

Auburn Recruiting Class Shines

In other Auburn football news, three of the program’s highly-touted commits have been named to the MaxPreps Pre-Season All-America Team.

Safety Anquon Fegans earned a first-team nod, while running back Alvin Henderson and athlete Derick Smith were both named to the second team. The trio represents a significant portion of Auburn’s top-ranked 2025 recruiting class.

Fegans, a Thompson High School product, is considered one of the top safeties in the nation. Henderson and Smith, from Elba and Selma, respectively, are also highly regarded prospects at their positions.
