Just Now: Freez Says Tigers Are At The Verge Of Loosing Their Top Class High-Rank recruiting Recognition…

Since Hugh Freeze and his coaching staff joined Auburn, the football program has reached a new level in recruiting not seen for years. Before Freeze’s arrival, recruiting, especially for positions like offensive linemen, had been declining.

Freeze embraced this challenge, and the Tigers’ recruitment has improved significantly with recent classes by adapting to modern challenges such as the transfer portal and NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) opportunities.

In 2024, Freeze and the Tigers secured a top 10 recruiting class, bringing in one of the best wide receiver groups in Auburn’s history. Looking ahead, the focus is on the 2025 class, which could become one of the highest-ranked in the program’s history.

Freeze praised his recruiting staff for their ability to build strong relationships with prospects but emphasized that Auburn’s reputation speaks for itself.

“We’ve been consistent with our message,” Freeze said, according to Auburn Rivals. “Our message is simple: come and see. We believe Auburn offers a unique culture and environment. I’m not claiming we’re better than others, but we do think we’re different.”

The 2025 recruiting class currently has 22 commitments and is ranked # nationally. Several recent commitments came during or after Big Cat Weekend, and the momentum continues to grow. With early signing day still months away, more players may commit to Auburn.

“I’m pleased right now; we’re in the top 10 nationally, and that’s where we need to be to compete,” Freeze said. “If we can secure a few more targets, we can build on the ‘25 class atop the solid ‘24 class. I’m comfortable with where we are now.”
