Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Schroder is generating trade interest from multiple NBA contenders, despite his expressed desire to stay with the team long-term.
Sources indicate that several playoff-caliber teams are keen on acquiring the veteran point guard, who showcased his abilities by leading Germany to a fourth-place finish at the Olympics. However, Schroder has publicly stated his commitment to the Nets, hoping to become a mentor and foster a team-oriented culture similar to his time with the Atlanta Hawks.
The Nets are currently undergoing a rebuild following the trade of Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks. Schroder joined the team from the Toronto Raptors earlier this year and has expressed satisfaction with his experience in Brooklyn.
