Exciting News: Jon Scheyer Announce The Emergence Of A Top Star On The Blue Devil’s Roster…

Acaden Lewis, a rising senior at Sidwell Friends School (D.C.), who is currently ranked No. 46 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, is poised for a higher ranking after showcasing his exceptional skills as one of the nation’s top point guards in grassroots tournaments throughout the spring and summer. This week, Lewis is making an unofficial visit to the Duke basketball program.

Though unofficial, these visits often feature photoshoots, and on Tuesday, Lewis shared images of himself donning Duke basketball jerseys in Cameron Indoor Stadium’s hype room:

This visit marks Lewis’ fourth stop at a top-tier program this summer, following trips to Kentucky, UNC, and two-time reigning national champion UConn.

At present, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound Lewis has narrowed his choices to eight schools: Duke, UNC, UConn, Kentucky, Syracuse, Auburn, Tennessee, and Michigan. He has not yet scheduled an official visit with Duke head coach Jon Scheyer and his staff.

In the meantime, the swift playmaker has lined up official visits to Louisville on August 30 and UNC on October 4, with plans to make his final decision before the early signing period in November.

So far, no experts have made predictions on 247Sports Crystal Ball for where Lewis might end up.

Acaden Lewis is one of 13 prospects in the 2025 class to receive a Duke basketball offer. The Blue Devils, who are still looking for their first commitment in this cycle, remain strong contenders for all but a few of those recruits.
