Just Now: Fans Frown At Juan Soto’s Awful Comments Regarding Yankees Loss…

After the New York Yankees suffered a 12-3 defeat to the rival New York Mets on Wednesday, fans had a lot to say about Juan Soto’s post-game comments.

The Yankees, now with a 60-44 record, lost both games in this week’s series against the Mets. When asked if losing to their rivals hurt more, Soto, in his first season with the Yankees, responded that all losses are significant for the team.

“Any loss matters for us. It’s tough to lose. It can be them or it can be whoever. We don’t want to lose to anybody. We want to go out there and dominate,” Soto stated.

This response led some fans to speculate that Soto might not fully grasp the importance of the Subway Series or that he might be avoiding criticism of the Mets due to potential future opportunities with them in the offseason.

Soto joined the Yankees in December and may still be acclimating to the fervor of New York’s fan base and the team’s rivalries. Nonetheless, he understands that the primary goal is to win games. Soto, with his .311 batting average, has significantly contributed to the Yankees’ efforts.
