The Tahoe Knight Monsters hockey team has announced an affiliation with the Las Vegas Golden Knights and the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights.
The announcement was made during a special event at Bally’s Lake Tahoe.
“We are very proud to be a part of the Golden Knights and Silver Knights families,” said Knight Monsters Co-Owner David Hodges. “Hockey in Nevada has grown over the last seven-plus years, and we’re excited to get started in late October.”
The Silver Knights began playing in the AHL in 2020 and have made it to the Calder Cup Playoffs once in their four seasons.
“I’m grateful to be part of the Tahoe Knight Monsters, where we hope fans and families can create lasting memories,” said Knight Monsters Co-Owner Tim Tebow. “I love that sports bring people together to enjoy camaraderie, competition, and community impact.”
The Knight Monsters will host their first home-opening weekend on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 against the Jacksonville Icemen at the Tahoe Blue Event Center.
