Breaking News: Hurricanes Rank Skyrocketed as They Commit a Super Offense Playing Star…

There are three other 2025 cornerbacks to watch for the Miami football program following the commitment of five-star prospect D.J. Pickett to LSU on Wednesday.

Miami Gardens, Florida The Miami Hurricanes are now looking at other cornerback prospects after five-star recruit D.J. Pickett committed to LSU on Thursday. While hoping to potentially flip Pickett in the future, Miami’s coaching staff is also focusing on three other CBs high on their recruiting list.

Four-star cornerbacks Jaboree Antoine and Ben Hanks, along with three-star Aidan Anding, all made official visits to Miami in June. Antoine is set to announce his commitment on Saturday at noon, while Anding and Hanks have not yet scheduled their announcements. Miami has already secured commitments from cornerbacks Chris Ewald and Timothy Merritt.

LSU is currently favored to land Antoine. The only crystal ball prediction logged for him was to LSU, made one day after he de-committed from the Tigers. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives LSU a 51.4% chance of landing Antoine, with Miami close behind at 44.9%.

There are no crystal ball predictions for Hanks. The On3 RPM projects Florida as the favorite with a 47.3% chance, while Miami trails at 24.9%. Other programs are listed with less than a 10% chance of landing Hanks, who is a Florida legacy.

LSU and Texas seem to be the leading contenders for Anding. One crystal ball prediction favors Texas, while three recent predictions favor LSU. The On3 RPM lists Texas with a 57.4% chance and LSU with 38.8%. Other programs have less than a 2.5% chance.

Miami has a big week ahead with top targets making their commitment announcements. Miami cornerback coach Chevis Jackson, hired in February after Jahmile Addae left for the Buffalo Bills, is in the early stages of building relationships crucial for recruiting. Another 2025 CB could emerge, or Miami might add a transfer at the position following the 2024 season.
