The Cleveland Monsters announced Monday that Curtis Hall, the Boston Bruins’ 2018 fourth-round draft pick, has signed an AHL contract for the 2024-25 season. Last season, Hall appeared in 22 combined games for the AHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins and Providence Bruins, recording 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points, along with eight penalty minutes and a +5 rating. He also played for the ECHL’s Maine Mariners, where he tallied 11 goals and 9 assists for 20 points in 22 games, with a +2 rating.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound center has accumulated six goals and ten assists, along with 24 penalty minutes, in 124 career AHL appearances over four seasons (2020-24) with Providence and Grand Rapids. In the ECHL, Hall has 16 goals and nine assists, with five penalty minutes and a +4 rating, in 30 career games for Maine over two seasons (2022-24).

Before turning professional, Hall played for Yale University from 2018-20, scoring 22 goals and 16 assists with 55 penalty minutes and a +15 rating in 52 NCAA games. In his second season, he earned spots on the ECAC Second All-Star Team and the All-Ivy League Second Team. Additionally, Hall played in the USHL for the Youngstown Phantoms from 2016-18, where he recorded 20 goals and 32 assists with 60 penalty minutes and a +3 rating in 113 games, earning a place on the 2016-17 USHL All-Rookie Second Team. He also represented Team USA at the 2020 IIHF U20 World Junior Championship.

With this signing, none of the five players selected by Boston in the 2018 NHL Draft remain with the organization. Jakub Lauko, the only player from that draft to reach the NHL with the Bruins, was traded to the Minnesota Wild on June 29, 2024.
