JUST IN: Boston Bruins Faces a Major Setback as they Looses Stanley Cup-Winning Coach to St. Louis Blues After a Shocking Incident…

The St. Louis Blues have added former Stanley Cup-winning head coach Claude Julien to their coaching staff as an assistant. Julien, who led the Boston Bruins to the Stanley Cup in 2011, has 19 seasons of experience as an NHL head coach, beginning with the Montreal Canadiens in 2002.

Julien spent three seasons with Montreal before a one-season stint with the New Jersey Devils. He then joined the Bruins, where he served as head coach for a decade, achieving a franchise record of 419 regular-season wins and earning the 2009 Jack Adams Award for best NHL coach. Under his leadership, the Bruins made seven playoff appearances and reached the Stanley Cup Finals twice. Julien returned to coach the Canadiens for another five years starting in 2016.

Additionally, the Blues have promoted Steve Ott to associate coach, extending his contract through the 2025-26 season. Ott, a former player with 848 NHL games over 14 seasons, has been with the Blues’ coaching staff for eight years and played a key role in their 2019 Stanley Cup victory.

The team also extended the contracts of assistant coach Mike Weber and goaltending coach David Alexander through the 2025-26 season.
