Heat and Hawks Swaps Enter Final Round Pick…

The Miami Heat have traded their No. 43 pick in the draft to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for the No. 44 pick and some cash, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

As a result, the Hawks will select guard Nikola Djurisic with the 43rd pick, while the Heat will acquire Arizona Wildcats guard Pelle Larsson at the 44th pick.

This trade impacts Atlanta financially, as they will now be hard-capped at the second tax apron due to the cash component of the deal.

Nikola Djurisic, a 20-year-old guard, has spent over three seasons playing for Mega in the Adriatic League. Last season, he averaged 15.4 points and 3.5 assists. Djurisic is considered a potential draft-and-stash candidate, indicating he might continue developing overseas before joining the NBA.

Pelle Larsson, 23, played three seasons with the Wildcats after starting his college career with one year at Utah. Known for his shooting prowess, Larsson boasts a career 3-point shooting percentage of 39.7 percent over 133 college games. In his last season at Arizona, he averaged 12.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game, with shooting percentages of 51.9 percent from the field and 42.6 percent from beyond the arc.
