Bronny James Chooses Between WNBA Stars Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and Sue Bird in Social Media Game
NBA Draft hopeful Bronny James recently participated in a social media video where he played a basketball version of the game ‘start, bench, cut,’ focusing on WNBA stars Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and Sue Bird.
In this game, James chose to ‘start’ Bird, ‘bench’ Reese, and ‘cut’ Clark. Interestingly, none of the other draft hopefuls in the video chose to ‘start’ the now-retired Bird.
Angel Reese has significantly boosted the popularity of women’s basketball, transitioning from her standout college career at sky to being the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky.
LeBron James’ son, Bronny, wasn’t selected in the first round of the NBA Draft, with LeBron’s team opting for former Tennessee star Dalton Knecht at No. 17 overall.
Bronny James, projected as a likely second-round pick based on his college performance at USC, could see his draft fate decided in the second round of the NBA Draft, happening Thursday night. Some teams have considered drafting Bronny in hopes of attracting LeBron James for the final phase of his career, as LeBron has expressed a desire to play with his son in the NBA. With LeBron turning 40 in December, the opportunity to fulfill this dream is limited.
The Los Angeles Lakers have a second-round pick at No. 55, and may consider trading up to draft Bronny to unite the James duo.
A two-time defending WNBA MVP, has led her Las Vegas Aces to league championships for the past two seasons. Meanwhile, the Chicago Sky are currently ninth in the WNBA standings, just outside of a playoff spot.
In other ‘start, bench, cut’ scenarios, James chose to start Anthony Edwards over Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum, and he picked his father, LeBron James, over Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan.
