Breaking: Bucks’ Top Shooter Play Last Season Expect to Depart This Offseason…

**Bucks’ Top Shooter Expected to Depart This Offseason**

The Milwaukee Bucks may see significant changes in their roster this summer. Malik Beasley, 27, who had a strong season as the team’s regular starting shooting guard, is expected to leave. Beasley led the team with 224 total three-pointers and a 41.3% shooting percentage from beyond the arc. He also participated in the Three-Point Contest at NBA All-Star Weekend. Despite a few low points during the season, Beasley’s performance positioned him well for free agency.

As a team facing the second-apron luxury tax, the Bucks cannot use the mid-level exception, making Beasley’s departure almost certain. This isn’t the only potential change for Milwaukee’s starting lineup, as another veteran player might also be traded.

Bleacher Report’s Chris Haynes reported that Beasley, who signed a one-year deal for the veteran’s minimum last summer, is not expected to return next season. Beasley may now seek a contract worth the full mid-level exception, around $13 million per year.
