Three-star defensive back from Florida, Caden Gordon, is set to visit Illinois this weekend. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound senior from Santaluces High School in Lantana, Florida, committed to NC State last week after an official visit to the Wolfpack earlier this month.
According to 247Sports, Gordon is ranked as the No. 131 cornerback in the Class of 2025 and the No. 186 prospect in Florida. The Composite rankings place him at No. 1186 overall nationally. During his junior year, he recorded 16 tackles and one interception in eight games.
Gordon has received scholarship offers from several schools, including Illinois, NC State, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, UCF, and West Virginia, along with numerous Group of Five programs.
