Previewing Miami football June 21 linemen weekend visitors…

The Miami football program is set to host several key recruits during the final weekend of official visits starting Friday. Among the visitors, five-star edge rusher Iose Epenesa leads a group of five defensive linemen and one offensive lineman. Offensive lineman Seuseu Alofaituli is the lone offensive prospect visiting Miami this weekend, which will see a total of ten players.

The Hurricanes have had an eventful week, securing commitments from offensive linemen Demetrius Campbell and Jaden Wilkerson, bringing their 2025 class to five commitments. Rankings for the 2025 class vary significantly, with 247Sports Composite placing Miami at 40th and On3 Industry Comparison at 21st. Seven of Miami’s nine 2025 commitments are on offense, including three four-star and six three-star recruits according to 247Sports composite rankings. With the June visits concluding, Miami anticipates a continued surge in commitments.

Epenesa, ranked 46th overall and sixth among edge rushers in the 2025 class, is a legacy player for Iowa, where his brother A.J. was a standout. Epenesa has already visited Penn State, Missouri, Iowa, and Utah, with Miami being his final stop.

Alofaituli, a four-star interior offensive lineman, ranks 77th overall and third in his position nationally, hailing from Bishop Gorman in Nevada. He has taken official visits to Michigan and Nebraska this month.

Jarquez Carter, a three-star defensive lineman, visited Florida, Penn State, Central Florida, and Ohio State before heading to Miami. On3 predicts Florida as the leader for his commitment at 68.9%. Carter is ranked 379th overall and 41st among defensive linemen in the 2025 class.

Herbert Scroggins, another three-star edge rusher, is projected to commit to Auburn, with two 247Sports crystal balls favoring the Tigers. Scroggins has visited Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia Tech in June and will visit Auburn in September. He ranks 406th overall in his class.

Randy Adirika, a three-star defensive lineman from Miami Central, is 414th overall in the 2025 class. He has visited USC and Penn State, and Miami is favored to land his commitment according to a 247Sports crystal ball.

Lastly, Tylon Lee, a three-star edge rusher, ranks 499th overall and has visited Central Florida, Arkansas, and Kansas. Mississippi currently has the highest chance for his commitment at 24.5% according to On3.
