JUST IN: A sweet moment between Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce brightens the day of a young cancer survivor…

Chiefs fans are applauding Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and their teammates for spending time with a young cancer survivor.

A Make-A-Wish kid named Jackson visited the Kansas City Chiefs’ headquarters with his family during pre-season practice on Tuesday, where he interacted with players and coach Andy Reid.

“The guys got to spend some time with Make-A-Wish kiddo Jackson yesterday who, after 7 rounds of aggressive treatment, just recently got to say he is officially cancer free,” the Chiefs captioned a heartwarming video on X.

“How you doing, man?” Mahomes asked the young fan, who was dressed in Chiefs gear.

Kelce added, “Dudes and dudettes, give me some love,” as he high-fived the kids.

“Are you enjoying the day?” the tight end inquired.

In another clip, Reid was seen putting a cap on Jackson’s head, followed by another hat placed backward.

“Then they don’t know if you’re coming or going,” he remarked humorously.

Running back Isiah Pacheco also joined in, crouching to chat with the kids as they took photos wearing players’ helmets.

One of the children, presumably Jackson’s sister, proudly showed off her t-shirt that referred to Kelce as “Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.”

“Awesome! So happy for that family and Jackson! Class act from the @Chiefs,” one fan commented on the video.

“I could not pick a favorite part of this video if I tried. Everyone treated them with such warmth and kindness. The world needs more of this,” another added.

A third noted, “Mahomes and Pacheco getting down on the kids’ level rather than towering over them,” while another fan wrote, “What a way to celebrate Jackson’s milestone! Go Chiefs!!”

Earlier in the day, defensive tackle Chris Jones mentioned that Kelce still has “four or five more” playing years ahead of him.

“We can’t let TK go. It’s like we retire, we’ve got to retire together. Give me at least six, four years, then we’ll talk about it,” he said regarding retirement rumors about the tight end.

Kelce shared his thoughts on playing “until the wheels fall off.”

“I really can’t put a timeframe on [retirement]. I love coming to work every single day,” he said this week, according to The Athletic.

“Hopefully, that doesn’t happen anytime soon,” he continued.

“Obviously, I know there are opportunities outside of football for me. You have to keep in perspective that I’m still a little kid when I come into this building, man.

“I know I’m 34 years old, but I love doing this right here, in the middle of the heat in June. I love coming to work every single day.”
