Breaking News: NC State Completes Another Blockbuster Deals for a 205 Pounds Weighing Wide Receiver Ahead of the New Season…

NC State sought a large-framed perimeter receiver and secured one at the end of the weekend with Jamar Browder.

Standing at 6-foot-3 1/2 and weighing 205 pounds, Browder from Lake Worth (Fla.) Santaluces Community, committed to the Wolfpack after his official visit, announcing his decision shortly thereafter.

“Everyone was cool and down-to-earth,” Browder shared. “They were easy to get along with, very easy-going. I didn’t meet anyone mean in North Carolina.”

A dual-sport athlete who also plays basketball, Browder had an impressive junior season with 39 catches for 790 yards and 14 touchdowns.

His relationship with receivers coach Joker Phillips was crucial to his decision.
“(Phillips) is very straightforward,” Browder said. “He’s funny, charismatic, and has a playful yet serious demeanor.”

Quarterback CJ Bailey from South Florida was Browder’s host during the visit.

“We’re from the same area, so he understood me,” Browder said. “We bonded well, nothing crazy, just got along.”

“When I join college, CJ will be running the offense, which is great since we already have chemistry.”

Browder had offers from Boston College, Louisville, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Pittsburgh, and West Virginia.
