BREAKING: Keenan Allen expresses great confidence in his future with the Bears…

After spending his entire career in California, wide receiver Keenan Allen made a move from the Los Angeles Chargers to the Chicago Bears during the offseason. Despite it being only a few months since the transition, Allen seems pleased with his new surroundings.

With just one year left on his current contract, Allen expressed openness to the idea of a long-term deal, provided the terms are satisfactory. “I’m going to play as long as I can,” Allen stated via Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times. “As far as an extension, I’m going to let the play speak for itself, and if they offer me something that I like, we’ll go from there.”

In discussing his family, who are still residing in California, Allen remarked that adapting to a city like Chicago wouldn’t pose much difficulty.

Scheduled to earn $18.1 million this season, Allen, who turned 32 in April, could potentially land a lucrative contract extension with a strong performance, given the current market for top-tier receivers. Notably, Allen declined a pay cut from the Chargers, highlighting his awareness of his market value.

With six Pro Bowl selections under his belt, Allen continued his impressive form in 2023, tallying 108 receptions for 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns in just 13 games.
