The Kansas City Chiefs have signed wide receiver Xavier Worthy to his rookie contract, as reported by multiple sources.

Worthy, the Chiefs’ first-round pick from the 2024 NFL Draft, agreed to a four-year, fully guaranteed deal worth $13.8 million, including a $6.85 million signing bonus. His cap hit for 2024 is expected to be $2.5 million.

With Worthy’s signing, all members of the Chiefs’ draft class have now secured their rookie deals. The team’s second-round pick, offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia, signed in mid-May. The other five draftees — tight end Jared Wiley and defensive back Jaden Hicks (fourth round), offensive lineman Hunter Nourzad (fifth round), defensive back Kamal Hadden (sixth round), and offensive lineman C.J. Hanson (seventh round) — signed on May 15.

Including Worthy and offensive tackle Chukwuebuka Godrick, who has an International Player Pathway roster exemption, the Chiefs now have 91 players under contract, filling their active roster with a full complement of 90 players. Taking all known transactions into account, Kansas City is estimated to have $13.1 million in cap space.

Worthy has participated in the first two open media sessions of voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) but without a helmet due to a hamstring injury. The next open session of voluntary workouts is scheduled for Thursday morning, followed by three days of mandatory minicamp next week.

It remains to be seen if Worthy will take the field on Thursday.
