BREAKING: A former Los Angeles Lakers standout is being considered as a potential free agent target for the Milwaukee Bucks…

Over recent years, the Milwaukee Bucks have faced disappointments with their bench performance. To address this, the front office could consider targeting Lonnie Walker IV, the former Los Angeles Lakers player now with the Brooklyn Nets, in free agency.

Walker, initially drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in 2018 alongside notable names like Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, has developed into an athletic wing with strong two-way capabilities.

During the 2022-23 season with the Lakers, Walker showcased his offensive prowess and defensive reliability, averaging 11.7 points per game while shooting 36 percent from three-point range in 56 games. Despite reduced playing time and statistics with the Brooklyn Nets, Walker, at 25 years old, still holds promise for improvement, particularly if given more opportunities.

In an article for Behind The Buck Pass, Dalton Sell suggests that Walker could bring immediate impact to the Bucks as a scoring option off the bench, given his career average of 9.8 points per game and 35.6 percent three-point shooting. With Milwaukee’s bench often inconsistent, adding a player like Walker could provide stability and additional scoring punch.

Considering Walker’s recent one-year contract with the Nets has ended, he is now a free agent, presenting an opportunity for the Bucks to secure his services to strengthen their bench for the upcoming season.

The potential synergy between Walker, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Damian Lillard adds further intrigue to his possible arrival in Milwaukee, promising exciting prospects if he is given more playing time alongside these stars.
