Kelce’s brother and co-host of the “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce, praised the exchange on social media, expressing admiration for Travis’ response. Meanwhile, pop star Taylor Swift, who attended the 2024 Super Bowl and celebrated with Kelce after the Chiefs’ victory, was not present at the White House event due to her ongoing European tour.

During a previous podcast episode in June 2023, Travis Kelce had shared his anticipation for addressing the public from the presidential podium during last year’s White House visit, highlighting the iconic nature of the occasion. Despite controversy surrounding Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s criticism of the president’s stance on abortion during a commencement speech, But Biden did not address the issue during the event.

The Chiefs have expressed confidence in their pursuit of a third consecutive Super Bowl win. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes reiterated his belief in the team’s ability to contend for another title in 2024 during an appearance on the “Impaulsive” podcast, setting high expectations for the upcoming season.
