REPORT: Draymond Green’s response to the Minnesota Timberwolves’ season-ending defeat has captivated online audiences…

It seems Draymond Green’s desires have come to fruition.

The Minnesota Timberwolves were ousted from the playoffs on Thursday following a 124-103 defeat in Game 5 of their Western Conference Finals showdown against the Dallas Mavericks. Notably absent from the broadcast of Game 5 was Golden State Warriors star Green, who had been contributing as part of TNT’s studio crew throughout the WCF series.

Green’s sentiments regarding the lopsided game emerged in a post shared on X on Thursday evening, albeit as the game was reaching its conclusion.

“Just got WiFi back on my flight after being in the air for a while. OUCH!! lol wow,” Green remarked.

His words appeared to thinly veil a sense of satisfaction, as Green had made little effort to conceal his bias during the conference finals. He openly took jabs at Timberwolves fans and players, including his longstanding rival Rudy Gobert, and even offered on-air advice exclusively to the Mavericks during the series.

It was evident that Green was rooting for the Mavericks to prevail over the Timberwolves. While his desired outcome materialized, Green’s comments during the series seemingly incurred the displeasure of the Timberwolves themselves.
