NZ Rugby (NZR) has revealed the coaching and management lineup for the Māori All Blacks ahead of their upcoming international fixtures against the Japan XV. Ross Filipo, currently an assistant coach for the Chiefs, will lead the team, accompanied by assistant coaches Roger Randle and Greg Feek.

Filipo, who previously played for the Māori All Blacks and later the All Blacks, expressed his excitement for the coaching opportunity and emphasized the responsibility to uphold the team’s traditions. Roger Randle, with over a decade of coaching experience, and Greg Feek, known for his extensive coaching background including with Ireland and the All Blacks, complete the coaching trio.

NZ Māori Rugby Board Chair, Professor Farah Palmer, praised the caliber of individuals involved and highlighted the importance of showcasing Māori rugby globally. The management group comprises experienced professionals recognized for their contributions to senior teams and Super Rugby Pacific roles.

Brad Te Haara, hailing from Northland, assumes the role of team manager, bringing with him considerable experience as the current men’s High Performance Manager. Other members include Dr. Rawiri Durie as team doctor, Hurricanes’ Jayson Ross as performance analyst, Christos Argus as strength & conditioning coach, and Thomas Wardhaugh as physiotherapist.
