REPORT: Giannis Antetokounmpo Drops Latest Updates Amid Future in Basketball Team Ownership…

Giannis Antetokounmpo is contemplating a new role in basketball beyond his current titles of MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and champion.

While not ruling out ownership of the Milwaukee Bucks in the future, he’s eyeing ownership of an overseas team.

Recent discussions arose from his observation of Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens’ EuroLeague qualification. Giannis expressed interest in potentially acquiring Panathinaikos or Olympiacos, provided their owners are open to selling.

Despite his unlikelihood to play for either due to past rejection, he’s earnest about ownership. Giannis even suggested buying a Greek team to his agent, George Panou, under the condition of the owners’ willingness to sell.

Although he acknowledges the slim chance of current owners selling to him, he aspires to earn the title of team owner eventually.

While future involvement with the Bucks’ ownership isn’t ruled out, his immediate focus remains on leading the team to championship success, despite recent playoff setbacks.

Ownership discussions may be on hold as Giannis prioritizes his current ambitions with the Bucks, particularly recuperating from a calf injury.
