To this end, the team reportedly sought assistance from Tony Dungy, a one-time Super Bowl-winning head coach turned NBC “Football Night in America” analyst, who addressed the team during a practice session, as reported by Mike Reiss of ESPN.
Despite the acquisition of potential franchise quarterback Drake Maye from the University of North Carolina with the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Patriots are expected to encounter some transitional challenges as they adapt to a new leadership era post-Belichick.
